Portrait Group
This is the monthly meeting of the Portrait Group - first Monday of each month. An excellent chance to practice portrait photography skills and grow your portfolio. The meeting is a practical photography session. We use flash lighting in a studio setting. We will have 2 sets operating and 2-3 models, so there will be ample opportunity to shoot. This MCC mid-week outing will be to the Geelong Wool Museum to to see the best of the nature and wildlife photographs from the Natural History Museums wildlife photography competition. We shall take the 9:30 train from Southern Cross station to Geelong, arriving in Geelong around 10:20. The museum is a short walk from the station. Join us for our March photowalk, we will be visiting the Moomba activities on the Yarra, followed by early dinner/drinks then fireworks (optional). The fireworks is scheduled for 9.30pm (it will run for 5-10 minutes, we will setup around 8.30pm) We will meet outside Hamer Hall then start with a walk along the Yarra and Alexandra Gardens area, along Swan St bridge, and returning to Fed Square past the water skiing and carnival area.
