Nature Photography Group
About the Nature Photography Group
The Nature Photography Group (Nature Group) is a special interest group for members of the Melbourne Camera Club (MCC) passionate about nature photography.
The Nature Group provides members interested in nature photography with a platform to share information on:
- photography techniques and styles
- nature hot spots
- favourite images
- other topics of interest.
The Nature Group aims to assist members new to nature photography with interpreting nature photography and building their nature photography skills.
The Nature Group program is a mix of meetings at the club and outings, sometimes in collaboration with the MCC mid-week outing group and the MCC monthly photographic walk. The program seeks to cover nature photography relating to wildlife, botanic, fungi and natural landscapes.
In May 2019, Members of the Nature Group exhibited in a very successful nature themed exhibition at the club.
This group is coordinated by Nicole Andrews.
