The next meeting of the nature group will be an outing to Serendip Sanctuary on Sunday 18 August.
The Sanctuary comprises open grassy woodlands and provides an opportunity to photograph a variety of birds and animals.
The group will meet in the car park at 10.30 for a short introduction to the Sanctuary before heading into the park. We will aim to break for BYO lunch at 1pm. There are barbecue facilities available if interested.
Serendip is located at 100 Windemere Rd, Lara. It is at the base of the You Yangs, approximately 22km north of Geelong. Serendip is signposted from the Princes Highway.
