A reminder that digital images for both the print and PDI competition need to be uploaded to the MCC competition portal by one minute to midnight on Wednesday 30th October.
Prints should be delivered to the club rooms between 7- 8pm on Thursday 31st October. Please make sure you label each print as per the instrcutions on the competition page, and read the rules in relation to the section you are entering.

Our Judges for 2024 are Belle Tweedale, Dani Watson and Kristian Häggblom
Belle Tweedale
Belle is a Melbourne-based fine art photographer whose practice explores themes of history, memory, relationship, and identity. Belle says that within her artistic exploration, she delves into the intricate interplay between the past and present and how the present revitalises the echoes of history. Her work explores into how these connections intricately transform and define one’s sense of self and identity. Belle has a Master of Arts Photography, from Photography Studies College, South Melbourne.
Dani Watson
Dani has a degree in Photography and Photo Imaging from RMIT University. She has worked with Ken Duncan OAM as his assistant, travelled with Ray Martin (who is an absolute rockstar and brilliant photographer) and has had the opportunity to learn from many photographers who inspire her to be a better photographer.
Kristian Häggblom
Dr Kristian Häggblom is a Naarm (Melbourne)-based artist, academic, independent curator and photobook collector who works with conceptual documentary and expanded modes of photography that have included/combined sound, collected objects, video, text, publishing, performance and commissioned work. Kristian completed his undergraduate studies in 1997 (RMIT), an Honours project in 2003 (University of Tasmania) and his PhD, titled Viewing Platforms, in 2014 (Monash University). He has worked extensively in Japan where he made work funded by the Australia Council for the Arts and has undertaken an Australia Council for the Arts artist-in-residence on Suomenlinna Island in Finland where he researched his heritage.
His work has been exhibited internationally including exhibitions in Australia, Japan, America, Mexico, India and Switzerland and is held in substantial collections.
