The opening event of the ‘One Light Stand – Romancing the Darkness’ Exhibition was very successful on Thursday night, with more than 40 people attending.
This exhibition has been a unique opportunity for our talented photographers to showcase their creative photography skills by using a single light source that is not natural light (sun or moon), flash or strobe lights. A variety of lights have been used in creating the exhibition, including torches, candles, tablet screens and street lamps, to name a few.
The exhibition continues next weekend 27-28 July, and the MCC building will be open to visitors during Open House Melbourne weekend.
The Exhibition Committee thanks the exhibitors for creating such a wonderful collection of creative images to showcase to our visitors.

Next 27-28 July, MCC is once again opening our doors for Open House Melbourne when we look forward to welcoming visitors to our clubrooms to view the exhibition – as well as explore our historic building, all areas will be open including studio, darkroom and gallery.

We need more people to assist on the roster to ensure the exhibition runs smoothly and successfully. See below information and link to the roster sign up sheet.
