Saturday 15th May 8:30am – 4:00pm
MCC is again running the Lightroom workshop and is seeking members with Lightroom (LR) and PC/Mac experience to help on the day.
This is an active workshop where participants follow an instructor using LR on their personal notebook computers. Handout notes are provided and a pre-prepared LR catalogue with all the required images is loaded onto their computer upon arrival.
We need people with
- Mac and PC experience to help load the catalogue files onto the participant’s computers first thing in the morning, and
- A working knowledge of Lightroom Classic to float around the room and help participants follow along with the instructor.
We would also like to encourage members with a sound working knowledge of LR to help with instructing future courses. We have members who have volunteered already (Peter King, Kyffin Lewis and Ruth Woodrow) but we are always looking for more volunteers.
The workshop is broken down into a number of sections, so there is an opportunity for members to instruct any of these sections using the course notes and images. For example, 10 minutes on how to crop and image using LR.
If you are interested, please come along to the first planning meeting at the Railway Hotel at 6pm on 22nd April (prior to the PDI competition night) and email mark.devaraj@melbournecameraclub.org.au so that we can confirm seating numbers with the Railway Hotel.
