What a year it has been. I’m sure most of you will be reading this thinking I can’t wait to go on holiday to capture the moments. Like all of us, you are all probably looking forward to getting out from your homes and indulging in your photographic pursuits.
2021 has been another incredible year with lockdowns disrupting our plans for the club, however we can all be proud to say that we have kept the club going through this pandemic in one way shape or form in keeping with our 130 year tradition of continuous activity.
Our members have been amazing, being able to change and adapt at short notice to the ever changing Government mandates and directions. We have been able to deliver activities and content which we did not plan for but were able to execute effectively, particularly with the help of our energetic coordinators and the many volunteers who avail themselves to help all of us make it through 2021.
Through adversity and much disruption, we have proven we are stronger together. I like many in the club are looking forward to a year where we can commence many pre-covid activities in person at the club and also grow the club whilst pursuing our photographic interests.
With the festive season upon us and another year drawing to a close; on behalf of the Board and myself, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry and Happy Christmas and also a very Safe and Healthy 2022, without lockdowns.
