Guidelines for Competition Images.
The following guidelines apply to images entered in all competitions help by the Melbourne Camera Club.
- Pornographic images are not allowed (pornography is defined as sexually explicit images; whose purpose is to elicit sexual arousal).
- Plagiarised images are not allowed.
- Exploitative images are not allowed (exploitative is defined as taking unfair or unethical advantage of a person, group, or situation).
- Images of naked or part naked persons under the age of 18 years are not allowed.
- Images of naked or part naked adults aged 18 years, or more, are permitted but genitalia must not be displayed.
- The name of the maker or any other distinguishing watermarks on the image is not allowed.
If the maker of an image is unsure whether his or her image complies with the above guidelines, the image should be emailed to the Competition Committee mcc-compcommittee@melbournephoto.org.au for a ruling prior to entering the image in a club competition.
