A bit about Jackie and Mike

We’re excited to have Jackie Ranken and Mike Langford joining us at MCC for a special 3-day workshop.

Both Jackie and Mike are based in the South Island of New Zealand, where they run workshops surrounded by some of the most incredible landscapes you’ll ever see. Between them, they’ve got over 30 years each in photography—shooting, teaching, judging, and inspiring photographers all over the world.

Jackie started out in Australia and is well known for her creative, artistic approach—especially her use of multiple exposures and movement to create really unique images. Mike, originally from New Zealand, has travelled extensively as a photographer and has published more than 25 books, covering everything from landscapes to travel work.

Together, they’ve built a reputation not just for their photography, but for the way they teach—very down-to-earth, practical, and focused on helping you see differently and develop your own style.

This 3-day workshop at MCC is a great opportunity to spend some real time learning from two of the best. It’s not just about settings and gear—it’s about ideas, creativity, and pushing your photography a bit further.

Should be a fantastic few days so don’t wait till there are no places left.
