Nature Group & Photowalk Community – Melbourne Zoo outing

Our August Photowalk & Nature Outing will be an afternoon at the Melbourne Zoo. This is a good opportunity to capture animals and their environment.

We will finish with early dinner/drinks at a nearby pub in Royal Parade, Parkville.

Important: Zoo Tickets must be pre-booked

The Zoo recommends all non-zoo members, need to have a pre-booked zoo ticket before you arrive at the zoo to avoid missing out on entry. Zoo Members, no longer need to pre-book your zoo ticket as you have guaranteed entry to the zoo but you do need to scan your member card at the gate. Public Transport:

• Tram: #58 West Coburg to Toorak runs from William Street in the city, stopping at Stop 26 – Rail Gate Entrance to the Zoo.
• Train: Upfield Line to/from Royal Park Station

Car parking: 

• $2 for a five-hour ticket. Please check that your parking ticket is correctly displayed on your dashboard before leaving your car, as the area is regularly monitored by City of Melbourne parking officers. Meeting location:       ‘Meerkats Cafe’ inside the Main Gate near the carpark, make your way to the meeting location after entering the zoo
