Sanatorium Lake Macedon Ranges

The May outing of the nature group will be to the Sanatorium Lake in the Macedon Ranges. We are looking forward to the opportunity to photograph a wide variety of fungi species. There was a successful outing there last year in the cooler months and we decided it was definitely worth further investigation.

The different vegetation types will also provide birds and insects, and the lake has the potential for beautiful reflections. Remember to bring chair and sturdy boots and shoes as the area can be quite muddy.
