Royal Botanical Gardens Cranbourne

Join us for our August nature outing to the at the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne. This beautiful site offers a wealth of photographic opportunities, including iconic Australian flora such as grass trees, flowering eucalypts, and Banksias, along with a variety of native birds like honeyeaters, wrens, and parrots.

If it a sunny day and so close to Spring, there are also excellent chance for macro photography, with native bees, dragonflies, and other insects often active in the garden’s warm, sheltered spots.

Please remember to bring comfortable walking shoes and a chair for lunch. Friends and family are most welcome to join us for this enjoyable day out in nature.
