Nature Outing – BlueStone Ford Werribee

Our July Nature Group outing will be to the Werribee Park area where we’ll be looking for birds, mammals and, if the conditions are right, fungi.
We will meet at 10:00am at the entrance to Werribee Mansion.
From there we will walk through the park to Bluestone Ford and continue along the track beside the Werribee River, keeping an eye out for wildlife and photographic opportunities along the way.
Lunch will be at the picnic area near the Victorian State Rose Garden. It would be advisable to bring a chair or rug to sit on.
Remember to bring
- water
- sturdy footwear (closed toe shoes are best)
- warm clothes
- insect repellent
- your usual photo gear (telephoto for birds and animals or macro lens for fungi)
- lunch – Chair or a rug to sit on.
