Artists statement
This image was captured with this very simple camera, taken at ground level on a footpath in Bayswater South recently this year.
Not as sharp as a conventional large format camera, the image has amazing depth of field from just in front of the camera to some distance along the path

Artists statement
This image was taken recently in Eastland Shopping Centre. The impressive architecture of the arches cannot not impress visitors for the first time there. Pin hole photography images are not as sharp as other large format cameras with “tilt” and “shift” lens capability, but the very small aperture of the f/321 “lens” give a wide-angle lens equivalent in other cameras, and so is excellent to capturing a large area of the shopping mall.

Artists statement
Henderson Falls is one of many waterfalls in the Otway’s Ranges National Park in Victoria. The image was taken by me with a Victorian group of photographers called the “Friends of Photography” who use film cameras when together on outings. I selected a slow shutter speed to emphasise the motion of the water streaming down to the rocks and the logs in the foreground.

The image was also taken by me with a Victorian group of photographers called the “Friends of Photography” who use film cameras when together on outings. I was approximately 100 metres from the fisherman, but the 500 mm Hasselblad lens gave me the composition I wanted. I needed support for the quite heavy camera-lens combination, so it was supported on a rice bag (tripod) on top of a wooden fence pole.
