With the recent easing of Government restrictions for outdoor gatherings – MCC photowalks are back for a final outing for 2020!
Join us for our December photowalk, we will be visiting the city to wander the streets and check out some of the Christmas displays. There will be a photo challenge during the walk, details will be provided on the day.
The meeting location is outside the Old Treasury Building, cnr Spring/Collins Sts. You might like to take a walk in the Treasury Gardens before meeting. Note that the Museum in the Old Treasury Building is closed during weekends.
We will walk along Collins St where you can visit some of the laneways and street art, Federation Square Christmas displays, the latest photography exhibition at the Leica gallery, then the Christmas displays and Myer windows in Bourke St Mall.
Following the walk, we will have an early dinner/drinks (optional) at Southbank. Note that dinner numbers may be limited due to restaurant capacity – please register your interest to attend the dinner in advance, email us: photowalks@melbournecameraclub.org.au
After the dinner you may like to check out some of the City of Melbourne Christmas projections around the city, 9pm-11pm – State Library, Melbourne Town Hall and Princes Bridge.
We welcome all photographers – bring along your favourite camera: digital, film, phone, Polaroid etc.
All visitors, friends and members of the Melbourne Camera Club are welcome.
All attendees must follow government guidelines regarding mask wearing and social distancing. The coordinators will record contact details of all attendees.
