Image Upload Issues

Lately the MCC website has been having issues uploading images. What happens is that after you submit the image on the website, a blank page is displayed with only the date and time displayed in the top left corner.

We are still troubleshooting the problem, but preliminary investigations indicate that HDR images could be causing the issue.

As a first step, turn off HDR settings in your camera and image processing software, make sure the Color Space is set to plain sRGB (not HDR sRGB or anything else), re-export the JPG and try to upload it again.

If that doesn’t work, try re-saving the exported JPG image with different software. There are several free programs available such as IrfanView, XnView, GIMP, and others. Then try uploading again.

As a last resort, if you are still encountering issues, email the problem JPG (as an attachment) to one of the email addresses below. We will re-save the image and try to upload it in a test system. If that works, we will return the corrected image to you so you can upload it under your own login. Please allow enough time before submission deadlines for us to process your images.
To assist with our troubleshooting, please include the following information in your email:
  • Camera/phone make and model used to capture the image
  • Software(s) and version(s) used to process the image
  • Whether you are processing the images on a PC / Mac / Android / iOS / Linux / other.
