SUMMARY:Nature Group Outing - Pound Bend Reserve
DESCRIPTION:Our April outing will be to the Pound Bend Reserve which is a part of Warrandyte State Park. We hope to see some of the 120 bird species that have been recorded there\, kangaroos\, echidnas and\, if we are lucky\, platypus in the Yarra River. \nLunch will be at the picnic area near the carpark. There are picnic tables however it would be advisable to bring a chair in case the area is popular on the day. \nWe recommend: \n\nwater\nsturdy footwear (closed toe shoes are best)\nsun protection\ninsect repellent\nyour usual photo gear (telephoto or macro lens would be useful)\nlunch\n\nWe will meet at the picnic area near the car park on Pound Bend Rd. https://maps.app.goo.gl/FLRm53BkCpDvbPpC6
