DESCRIPTION:This outing has been cancelled due to the covid-19 virus (coronavirus). (14 Mar 2020) \n  \n  \n  \n\nIn this outing\, we will visit the Australian National Aviation Museum at Moorabbin Airport. \nYou can take great shots inside aeroplane cockpits\, look down on aircraft repair workshops\, and pose with a vintage aeroplane. Quite apart from taking close-ups of specific parts of aircraft mechanisms. The Museum also provides a very interesting tableau of the development of civil aviation in Australia – the days of TAA\, Ansett\, etc. \nWe plan to meet at 10.30am in the Fight Deck Bar and Grill.  Corner of First Ave. and Bundora Pde. It is just north of the air traffic control tower (Melway 87G4). From there it is a short walk to the Aircraft Museum.\nEntrance : $10\,and $7\,- concession.\nWe plan to return to the Flight Deck Bar and Grill for lunch.\nHope to see you there. DESCRIPTION:This is the monthly meeting of the Portrait Group – first Monday of each month. An excellent chance to practice portrait photography skills and grow your portfolio. \nThe meeting is a practical photography session. We use flash lighting in a studio setting. We will have 2 sets operating and 2-3 models\, so there will be ample opportunity to shoot. \nOpen to all MCC members (and visitors may attend up to 2 sessions). If you want to shoot\, please bring your camera (with a standard hot shoe on top for the flash trigger) and $10 for a shooters licence. \nPlease come along at 7pm to help set up. We start shooting at 8pm\, and stop when the models say they’ve had enough (typically 2-3 hours). \nPlease remember that after the shoot you are required to send some photos back for the models.
