The Exhibition features a selection of exciting works from Club members and from invited\, guest nature photographers. \nFollowing the Australian Photographic Societies guidelines for nature photography\, images for the exhibition cover all branches of natural history\, except anthropology and archaeology\, including animals\, birds\, invertebrates\, marine and fresh water species\, botany and natural landscapes. The Melbourne Camera Club has also introduced this year a section called ‘Interpretations of Nature’. \nThe exhibition will reopen to the public for two days\, on 10 and 11 July from 10am to 4pm

DESCRIPTION:For our July Photowalk we’re meeting up with the MCC Grace Lock Group to make the most of a new moon for some Astro and Nightscape photography. We will be heading out west to Little River\, a small town 50km from Melbourne between Werribee and Geelong. As we’re a bit of a social group\, we’ll catch up for a meal before heading out into the (hopefully) clear and crisp night air. DESCRIPTION:Nature Photography Exhibition\n\nJuly 10 @ 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM\n\n\n\nThe Melbourne Camera Club’s second Nature Photography Exhibition\, opened on 22 May 2021. The Exhibition features a selection of exciting works from Club members and from invited\, guest nature photographers. \nFollowing the Australian Photographic Societies guidelines for nature photography\, images for the exhibition cover all branches of natural history\, except anthropology and archaeology\, including animals\, birds\, invertebrates\, marine and fresh water species\, botany and natural landscapes. The Melbourne Camera Club has also introduced this year a section called ‘Interpretations of Nature’. \nThe exhibition will reopen to the public for two days\, on 10 and 11 July from 10am to 4pm

He’ll also do a live shoot “on air” as part of the presentation. \nBio – Hailing from the USA\, Craig Wetjen moved to Australia in 1996\, he introduced one of the country’s first digital photography subjects in a university\, at RMIT. The dawn of digital photography during that year was far different to the photography we know today. \nIn over three decades working in the photography industry\, Craig has won countless awards around the world. His method remains constant in the knowledge that a photographer learns from every one of their images. Whether your photograph is an award-winning piece\, or it is the final photograph you deliver to a client\, you will always take something away. \nCraig has a great passion for not only the captured image but the many facets that go into creating an image. He is dedicated to creativity\, superior quality\, exceptional service and an enjoyable experience in capturing a perfect moment or someone’s personality\, with natural expressions along with being an educator and mentor in the craft of photography. \n
