DESCRIPTION:Please Note\nUntil further notice Portrait Group shoots are being replaced with online Zoom Meetings. \nFor meeting details please make sure you are on the Portrait Group mailing list (email portrait@melbournecameraclub.org.au if you are not). \n\n  \nThis is the monthly meeting of the Portrait Group – first Monday of each month. An excellent chance to practice portrait photography skills and grow your portfolio. \nThe meeting is a practical photography session. We use flash lighting in a studio setting. We will have 2 sets operating and 2-3 models\, so there will be ample opportunity to shoot. \nOpen to all MCC members (and visitors may attend up to 2 sessions). If you want to shoot\, please bring your camera (with a standard hot shoe on top for the flash trigger) and $10 for a shooters licence. \nPlease come along at 7pm to help set up. We start shooting at 8pm\, and stop when the models say they’ve had enough (typically 2-3 hours). \nPlease remember that after the shoot you are required to send some photos back for the models.

DESCRIPTION:Digital Editing Group as the name suggests is a group that meets to discuss Digital Programs and Processes.   Evening is generally broken into three parts covering beginner\, intermediate and advanced processes.   Our focus is on using Lightroom and Photoshop.   In order to get the greatest benefit from the night we use videos from experts followed by discussion on each topic.   Topics are general in nature  post-processing and should be suitable for print\, PDI\, books or any other reason you process your photos.

SUMMARY:Photowalk Community - Polo at Werribee
DESCRIPTION:**UPDATE** Due to the polo matches starting earlier than anticipated\, we now plan to start at 10am (instead of 12pm)\, finish time of the matches is approx 2.30pm. We will continue to a local pub for drinks after the last game (optional). If you are unable to come along at 10am\, feel free to join us at 12pm.\n***********\nOur last outdoor activity for the Photowalk group for 2019 will be on 15 December at the Werribee National Equestrian Centre where we will try out hand at capturing fast paced images on a polo field. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe will commence with some safety instructions and spread ourselves around the polo field to capture some stunning activity.\n\n\n \n\n\nWe will adjourn for an early dinner at a local venue after the last game.\n\n\n \n\n\nAll visitors\, friends and members of the Melbourne Camera Club are welcome.\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nDate: Sunday 15 December 2019\n\n \nMeeting Time: 10am \n\n\n \n\nMeeting point: K Rd end of Polo field 1. Look out for a dark silver VW Touareg.\n\n\nAddress: K Rd Werribee South Polo fields: enter through the boom gates turn right go past the open horse stalls. 2 polo fields located at the end and they back on to K Rd.\n\n\n \n\n\nAdditional info: \n\n\nLunch / drinks : bring your own\, plus hat and sunscreen as there is very little cover / shelter.\n\n
