DESCRIPTION:February 24\, 2025 @  7:30 PM – 10:30 PM \nGuest speaker: Renato Colangelo \nRenato is visual artist whose practice is focused and concerned with cultural identity\, social awareness\, anthropology and experimentation within different mediums. \nHe continues the use of analogue techniques in the production of his artwork and runs Nero Darkroom in Melbourne & workshops in aspects of analogue photography. \nPredominantly works in the medium of Photography\, Video and large-scale installations including several works in Camera Obscuras\, ‘Standpoint’ for Eyes Lies & Illusions at ACMI in 2007 and ‘Locked Treasure Room’ 2011 at Centennial Gardens Sydney. \nHe’s been exhibiting since 1997 with solo and group exhibitions including residencies in Italy and Australia along with being the recipient of various awards including the prestigious Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarship in 2002. \nAnnual exhibition update\nWe are still seeking volunteers to help with the exhibition.\nWithout volunteer help the exhibition cannot happen.\nDesley will outline the help needed. \nShow and tell\nShow and Tell\, feedback on printmaking\, Passion Projects\, Work In Progress\, sharing of interesting cameras. \nAnalogue Still Life 29th March\nBarrie will introduce the workshop and give more details on the activity
