SUMMARY:Digital Editing Group
DESCRIPTION:As the level of understanding of digital editing techniques varies enormously among members\, we will aim to provide information to members at basic\, intermediate and advanced levels in each meeting. \nThe focus is not on how to capture an image\, but on what can be done with it in post-processing after downloading the images to your computer. Topics such as adjusting exposure and saturation\, compositing\, HDR and special effects will be just some of the areas covered. The digital editing techniques discussed will primarily be applicable to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop\, however these techniques are generally transferable to many other digital editing programs. \nA few weeks ago we had Michael Marlborough from Kayell present on the Thursday night on the subject of printing. This month for Digital Editing Group\, I thought it would be opportune to follow up with a deep dive into printing workflow. This will include an initial image edit\, soft proofing and amending the file through to test printing and final printing. Both Lightroom and Photoshop are demonstrated in the videos I have for you this month.
