DESCRIPTION:Photowalk Community – Toorongo Falls\, Gippsland\n \nWe welcome MCC members and friends to the September photowalk.\n \nFor this month’s outing we heading out of the city to Toorongo Falls in Gippsland.\n \nIn addition to photographic opportunities of the waterfalls\, keep a look out for bats\, sugar gliders and possums who call the dense eucalypt bush home.\n \nDate: Sunday 11 September \n\nDrive time from Melbourne approx 1hr 45min\n1.30-1.45pm: Meeting location: Noojee Heritage Centre / Tourist Information Centre\, 405-415 Mt Baw Baw Tourist Rd\, Noojee\n2.00pm: Leave for Toorongo Falls and Amphitheatre Falls carpark (20 mins drive from Museum)\nOn arrival at the Falls\, park in carpark – start the hike uphill to Toorongo and Amphitheatre Falls. The round trip will take approx 2.5 hrs\nDinner at 6pm at Noojee Hotel 411 Mt Baw Baw Tourist Road\, Noojee (20 mins drive)\n\nNotes \n\nBring a tripod\, ND filter/s if you plan to capture long exposures of the waterfall\nCheck the weather and bring hiking boots or gumboots if it is wet.\nWarm clothing\, check weather forecast \n\nRSVP is essential for planning purposes and dinner numbers\, please advise by Friday 9 September\, 8pm if you will be joining the outing and dinner.
