DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Selby Markham \nTopic: Do competitions inhibit my photographic creativity? \nThursday evening’s presentation will look at what competitions mean within the arts in general and a camera club in particular.  We will explore how the way people approach photography might impact upon their view of competition. \nBy developing a broad model of photographic activity\, we will look at how competition could influence the development of camera clubs. \nFinally\, we will introduce ways in which a camera club can move beyond competition into a developmental environment. \n
