DESCRIPTION:Note: This excursion is on the 4th Tuesday\, and not the normal 3rd Tuesday. \nThe William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize is the most prestigious photography prize in Australia\, and is a showcase of contemporary Australian photographic talent. \nThe theme for this year is Australia as a multicultural society\, and as a quirky and extraordinary place. \nThe 58 shortlisted images will be on display at the Monash Gallery of Art (Cnr. Ferntree Gully & Jells Roads\, Wheelers Hill). \nWe will meet on Tuesday 22nd October at 10.30am in the Gallery Café\, and then go and look at the exhibition. \nAfter which we will adjourn for lunch at the Wheelers Hill Hotel directly opposite the Gallery. \nYou are all most welcome to join us. \nJoe Hajdu \nClick here for further details about the Mid-week Outing Group \n
