Gum Bichromate printing is one of the oldest photographic processes whereby a permanent image is created.
The basic process involves coating a surface with a light sensitive medium and then exposing that to light through a negative or as a photogram. The photosensitive surface is created by mixing Gum Arabic, pigment and potassium or ammonium dichromate. There are many web-based resources on the process.
Six members of the Analogue Photography Group took part in this workshop and created the prints captured in the images below.
