What's Hidden Melbourne all about?

Hidden, overlooked

We feature “hidden” locations using 360° virtual tours. These are places which are inaccessible or simply overlooked. For example, the many clock towers around the city, highly visible, but the interior is hidden. We make these places available as well as their historic background.

Endangered, historic

We're creating a lasting record of Melbourne. A 360° virtual tour of a building created prior to redevelopment will let future generations see the what was there and “walk” inside. Through our historical research, we've rediscovered many exciting past views of Melbourne.

Interesting, unusual

Even if you've lived in Melbourne for years there are probably many interesting places that you are unaware of. We try to find these places and highlight them online – as well as a few well known places but from a different viewpoint.
